As [[Westshire]] grew larger people started flocking to places near the city. Fairwater is the result of people settling a bit outside the city. They created the village to tend to the needs of [[Westshire]] that couldn't be met inside the city.

Most of the food is fished out of the [[ Dagrae Inner Sea ]] with the addition of some grown vegetables on the nearby farms. Most of the farms however produce cotton which is used in the sail lofts native to the town. Much of the created sails are sold to the various trading companies in the city.
