Not much is known before 1800TC, when the ruling class changed to the Ashton family, appointed by the King himself. During the history of Westshire until present day the city has had ups and downs.

In the last 200 years the city has grown from a stone town to a vast stone city with many shipwright, the necessities for crafting ships and a high food production compared to the other cities. Because of the location of the city and the investments in the shipwrights, over the years they now own a unique position in the creation of ships for the kingdom and inland shipping.
